7 Reasons You Should Buy A Home In Seminole, FL

March 20, 2017 by The727Team

As a licensed realtor I am always looking for trends.  When I advise clients on local areas, one of the most important questions I ask is how long do you think you will live in your home?

That question is immediately followed up with how important is long-term increasing value to you?  As a consumer and a professional, I’ve recognized the growing trends in Seminole, FL and have even purchased a home for myself in that area.

Let’s explore the 7 reasons why you should buy a home in Seminole, FL.

1. Seminole City Center (The New Seminole Mall)

This is huge… mainly because this is a work in progress and it’s bringing great business and attractions to the area.  Typically when malls like this either get renovated or built, home prices tend to go up higher than normal appreciation due to the demand to live near the conveniences.

As this mall continues to be built out, expect it to be more difficult and expensive to get into a home near the mall.

2. The Central Location

If you live in Florida, you quickly learn that to truly experience all the area has to offer, you have to be willing to travel throughout the county.  Given Seminole’s central location, it makes for a great spot to reach popular spots like St Petersburg, Clearwater Beach, and Tampa, FL all in under 30 minutes.

3. The Schools

Not all areas are the same when it comes to the schools.  This is another thing you’ll need to consider when it comes to long-term appreciation with your home. Seminole, FL has great schools, but two of the best ones are Bauder Elementary School and Osceola Fundamental High School.

4. The Beach

The beauty of Seminole, FL is you only live 10-15 minutes away from the beach and you don’t have to pay beach prices in order to get a great quality home.

The closer you get towards the beach, the higher and higher prices inflate.  Seminole, FL is in the sweet spot when it comes to pricing.

5. The Community

Living in an area where you feel safe and can truly see that people care about their homes is a must for many homeowners.

Although Seminole, Florida doesn’t get a 100% pass rate depending on the neighborhood we are speaking of, it tends to do better than most other cities in Pinellas County based on community involvement, neighborhood watches, and major growth.

6. Beautiful Parks and Recreation

It’s nice to have a place to relax and the city of Seminole does a great job providing this experience. There are gorgeous parks such as Lake Seminole Park and Seminole City Park, as well as recreational resources such as the Seminole Recreation Division.

7. Most Densely Populated County

This reason applies more to the county Seminole resides in – Pinellas.  As the most densely populated county in the State of Florida, there’s a major reason this has happened.  People love it here!  And when people love to visit here, a good bit of them end up trying to live here.

This is great for homeowners since the county only has so much land and most of it has already been built upon.  As demand increases, finding yourself as the homeowner of a nice property surrounded by beaches will more than likely be to your benefit.

If you take the time to study the area, or you contact a professional realtor that knows the area, you’ll be in a much better position to get a good deal and build wealth and equity.

For most people, buying a home is the single biggest purchase of their life.  Let Ryan & Chris help protect you and guide you through the process.  To get started, email us at the727team@gmail.com  to get the process started!
