St Petersburg, Florida was established in 1886. It has since gone through dramatic changes but interestingly enough, the most dramatic changes have happened in the past 10 years. Once known as a sleepy town for retirement folks, St Pete is now thriving with many of the local establishments geared towards a younger crowd.

Walking around Downtown St Pete, you will notice many local art shops, craft beer breweries and a ton of new construction including condos, town homes and apartments.
