St. Pete, Florida Millennial Newsletter

June 13, 2024 by The727Team

Father’s Day reminder!!!! This is your reminder to reach out to your Dad for Father’s Day this Sunday. Even if your Dad doesn’t understand you at all and has suggested for the past 10 years that you should consider being a flight attendant instead of a real estate agent. Yeah don’t suggest being a pilot, really appreciate that confidence you inspire in me. Thanks Dad!

Anyways let’s get into the newsletter.

Recommended Neighborhood

Coquina Key

Are you exploring places to live around St. Pete? My neighborhood is going from 0-100 real quick. Currently all we have is Mullets since the old Coquina Key Plaza was sold and is in the process of redevelopment. The owner of Mullet’s told me they’ll be introducing their new wine bar / dessert room concept once they clear FEMA regulations for their building.

I talked to the developers of Coquina Key Plaza and they mentioned a few things, some of which aren’t supposed to be disclosed yet – A well known locally owned St. Pete Coffee / wine bar moving in, a tentative deal with a small boutique grocery store that will fit in about 5,000 square feet and some sort of pizza chain. They still have a good amount of commercial space available and are open to customized buildouts as they continue to develop this plaza. If you’ve been exploring a brick and mortar type of business in St. Pete, this might be a good opportunity to look into.

Here is a blog I wrote about Coquina Key if you’d like to learn a bit more about this area!

Events This Weekend

Poolside Yoga @ The Hollander

I’ve never really been into yoga but the few times I’ve tried it I’ve always felt great afterwards. This weekly event at The Hollander has always sounded fun. Get a little yoga action in by the pool then hang out after for breakfast and a mimosa for Free99 with the entrance fee of $15. The most fun I ever had at yoga was at a brewery when we all had drinks after and made frands. I should do it again. Here’s the link if you want to check it out.

BYOB Comedy Show @ Roots To Crown

In a world where you can drop $100+ on a night out just on drinky poos, a BYOB event is kind of refreshing. Check out this comedy show at Roots to Crown this Saturday from 8 to 9:30. Here’s a link to the Event Brite page.

In Conclusion

If you’re a Dad yourself or have a Dad you’re in contact with I’d like to wish you a happy Father’s Day Weekend. Feel free to shoot me a text or give me a call with any residential real estate questions. Even if you’re a petting zoo Dad like myself, feel free to reach out.  Have a great weekend!!!!!
